History
The last badminton club existed in 2008. After a long hiatus, we are re-establishing the club in 2025, bringing together badminton enthusiasts once again. This marks a fresh start for the community, providing a platform for players to train, compete, and enjoy the sport.
About Us
The Macquarie University Badminton Club is a vibrant community for students who share a passion for badminton, whether for fun or competition. Our club is open to players of all skill levels, offering a welcoming environment for both casual and competitive play.
Recreational Purpose: We provide students with opportunities to enjoy badminton in a relaxed and friendly setting. Whether you're looking to unwind, stay active, or make new friends, our club fosters a space for fitness, enjoyment, and social connections.
Competitive Purpose: For those aiming to take their game to the next level, we offer pathways to represent Macquarie University in inter-university and regional badminton competitions. Our goal is to enhance the university’s presence in the sports community and support players in reaching their full potential.

Becoming a Member
To become a member, simply purchase the 2026 Semester 1 product. Membership entitles you to a $3–$5 discount on all our events and on the club uniform.
